There are experiences and then there are experiences, my experience at the Bangalore Mocha was one such case.
It was a great experience.
Silver service at its best. I would generally term Mocha's staff service as friendly or approachable but the staff was this franchise went out of their way to make my experience worthwhile. I went back the next day, and the service was one of the major pulls.
If the service was exceptional, the food was anything but that. I generally rate Mocha's food above most 'communication joints' (this is the nomenclature I club them under) however this one was different and for the worse. Had I not gone back the next day, I would have felt it was freak case but my return visit only confirmed my observation.
Go there for the conversations and conversation accompaniments (hookaas and beverages) but defenitely not for the more (food)...

French Racism...
Think France and the first thing that come to mind is 'romance'...
Wine, perfume and kiss, will definitely feature in most people's top 10 words to describe France...
A closer examination would suggest that all the three words are related to romance and these are not all, most things about France would make you want you to cosy up with your partner...
This was my perception till I read this article about French racism, neither against citizens nor against tourists but against the dead, just so you know the dead being referred to are not war prisoners but French soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the WWI...
This was not a stand alone case, a similar incident has been reported last year...

Rapex - dubbed the 'rape trap' - is a product worn internally by women. The hollow inside is lined with rows of razor-sharp hooks, which are designed to latch on to a rapist's penis during penetration. They can only be removed by a doctor.

The product will be on the shelves of South African chemists and supermarkets later this month. South African mother-of-two Sonette Ehlers developed the original prototype in 2005 but has struggled to get it patented and approved for sale, not least because of staunch opposition from feminist groups.

Rich List - 2008...
The latest Forbes RichList has thrown a lot of surprises...
For the first time in over 13 years Bill Gates has been relegated to the third spot...
The first spot is safe with the Sage of Omaha and the second spot is held by Carlos Helu...
Speaking of closer home, 4 Indians in the top 10 is an amazing achievement (the fact that Dollar depreciation has helped our cause shall be overlooked till the celebrations are over)...
One other observation is the presence of a lot of Russians in the top 20 and most of them in their early forties and whats more their fortune is self amassed (I did some reading up and one popular conspiracy theory doing the rounds talks about how the young mougals (Business Oligarchs) are a corrupt lot and the money that they claim to manage is actually Putin's...)...
If you count Gates out, there is no other tech head in the top 20...
What makes Buffett's climb even more commendable is the fact that the market is actually going thru a possible recession...
